- San Francisco is having a local Custom Framebuilder Show on October 20th at the Sandbox Warehouse in the Potrero Hill District from noon – 6pm. Admission is free, music and beer will be on hand at this event organized by Bicycle Fabrications and Ride SFO.
- Dahon has partnered with the Marine Corps Marathon to offer rental bikes for families and friends to get around the venue and follow along with their bipedal competitors. Proceeds from the rentals go to Diabetes Action, and shops that help out benefit from increased exposure and good will. They’re planning on rolling out this program to more events next year after testing the concept.
