Where to ride

  • TrailQuest, a challenge to bike the best trails on the planet – With over 750mi of singletrack, the Crested Butte & Gunnison Valley has one of the largest & most varied network of mountain bike trails in the world. From desert riding at Hartman Rocks to high alpine leg burners up north, it really has it all. In an effort to encourage more use of their vast trail network throughout the Crested Butte and Gunnison region, a CBG Trails App by GoMaps will let you track rides in the TrailQuest competition. Each unique mile of trail ridden will add up in a race to 750. Leaderboards will be posted in the app, around the towns, and online.  Speed is not a factor, just unique mileage ridden. Rack up 750 unique miles ridden and earn a TrailQuest jersey, bragging rights and the knowledge of having ridden some of the best trials in the world. Gte it on iTunes or GooglePlay.

Contests

  • Win a Fox 34 fork with the BC Bike Race – Here’s a simple social media one for us all. Post a photo of yourself on Instagram with a ‘fork’ in the ‘trail’. Tag it as #forkinthetrail and #bcbr2017. Then tag two friends who you ride with to share the word, and you’ve just entered yourself for a chance to win a new Fox 34 fork thanks to the folks at BCBR. Get out on the bike and be creative, because the BC Bike Race team will pick two winners based on their own subjective tastes of which ones are best. The contest is running now, with the winners picked on June 6. BCBikeRace.com
