Winter is coming or is already here for a lot of us. Trying to get one last ride in before the snow really flies, the Shaperideshoot crew filmed with Alex Evans as he roosted his way down a slick, snowy Le Pleney mountain side.

Need more inspiration to get out and ride as the mercury drops? Find it, next.

If there’s a lot of snow, you may need something with a little bigger tires. Like a fatbike. Jesse and Perry’s Fat Day Out in Spearfish, SD gives a pretty good impression of why we love fatbikes. Especially under a blanket of snow, the ability to explore uncharted territory that you would have just ridden past on a normal bike is awesome.

Maybe your winter inspiration will come from your best trail shredding memories of the summer. Mike Hopkins, Mason Mashon, and Simon Buzacott show why summer is great in Bikes not Beaches from David Peacock and Andre Nutini.

Completely switching gears, Odyssey just put out this awesome documentary on the second Texas Toast. I won’t try to describe it, you’ll just have to watch it for yourself.

Finally we’ll leave you with the third chapter of Life on Wheels, the series following Team Lapierre Gravity Republic.

From Lapierre:

Following the Lapierre Gravity Republic team on their 2013 UCI World Cup and World Championship season, this film is about the characters and personalities behind who makes the team tick. From the riders to the mechanics and the management, everyone plays a part as we find out from the inside what the team is really like.

In the third episode, we find out how the team’s race weekend at Mont Ste Anne finished, travel to Blenky’s French home for the summer to see him smashing up the famous roadie mountain Mont Ventoux and travel to Norway and South Africa for the penultimate races of the season.

Starring Sam Blenkinsop, Loic Bruni, Emmeline Ragot and Loris Vergier and Directed by Aaron Bartlett.

The fourth and final chapter will be available free online on the 27th November 2013!
