I didn’t get a chance to walk down the CamelBak line with their PR folks this year (look to Zach for a post at some point), but this bag caught my eye as I was walking by. I desperately wanted it to be a Space HAWG, but Space MULE will have to do. OK, so it turns out that it’s not the Space MULE- according to Camelbak, it’s the Tin Man MULE, and Mark Weir has been riding one all season.  The fabric seems to have come directly from my childhood astronaut costume and will do a good job at making its wearer easy to spot in a race or after falling down a ravine. That can’t be the whole story behind the silvery bag, it’s pretty cool regardless.

$100 | 9.5L cargo capacity | 3L bladder
