Endura has launched a new, more affordable shell. It’s a nice packable design, is 10k breathable, and comes in red, black, and the ever popular hi-viz yellow. Sizing ranges from small up to XXL, and I was told it has a looser fit. Cost comes in at a reasonable $110.
Head past the jump for the rest of the goodies.
Endura was also showing off a new pair of Windchill gloves coming in at $45. Not pictured is the new urban line of wool clothing. They promised images and pricing soon. If the samples I saw are anything like the finished product we are in for a treat.
The guys over at King Cage keep on innovating. They now have a larger Behold tool pouch that will hold a 29er tube, or a tubular road tire (not pictured). While the Behold allows you to use your preferred bottle cage, they are also showing an all-in-one version called the Cargo Cage. It is made from titanium and should come in around $70 for the cage and bag. Availability is set for mid October.
They were also showing off their new Cargo Roll. It incorporates the Behold tool bag with a roll up bag that has two wing pockets, and should provide a good alternative to the traditional saddle bag should you want to try it out. We have one on review now, so stay tuned for a full write up soon.
I was pleasantly surprised to run into Pat Gerke from Icarus Lights while roaming the show floor. As luck would have it, he had the finalized version of his sweet USB Di2 battery on him. When I last saw it, the casing was a clear plastic tube, and while it worked OK, it was always intended to be housed in a full aluminum tube. The ends are threaded and sealed with lock tight. This gives Pat the option to service his product further down the road should it ever be needed. Pat has also updated his website to include the new batteries, and ordering options are there as well should you want one for your very own.
