Recently launched Gravity Anomaly out of Colorado is now shipping an assortment of 100% American made jerseys, tees, and “the toughest mountain bike short on the planet.” Yet Gravity Anomaly claims they are “most proud of our proprietary Crotch Hug System in our shorts. Your shorts will never get hung up on your seat before that tech section again.”
On your left you see the Teamster available in Khaki or Blue at $64 and featuring an overbuilt 4-ply nylon shell with 1/4″ double needle stitching. The Teamster is right at home on baggy, bring-your-own-chamois XC or all mountain rides with its 22″ outseam, low profile pockets, seamless crotch and rear stretch yoke panel.
The Longhaul, available in olive and charcoal, is your big mountain short at $79. Building on the construction of the Teamster, the Longhaul adds 2.5″ to its outseam to fit nicely over kneepads, a polyester vented micro-mesh inner for breathability on the truck up the mountain, and a shortened and gusseted crotch design for maneuverability on the home stretch. Keep on truckin’.
Gravity Anomaly also offers three different poly/cotton blend tees. The Half Nelson Jersey pictured above is a simple, lightweight, wicking fabric, jersey at $32, which should be nice for all day enduro style rides.
Forthcoming is the $45 Day Rate jersey (left) followed by the $60 Boardroom jersey complete with black mesh underarm inserts and sunglasses wipe.
