UK bespoke bike builder J.Laverack continues to evolve their additive manufacturing titanium craft to sleekly integrate fully customizable bikes. And the two new bikes they are presenting at Roleur Live this weekend really take it to the next level. The first one that jumped out at me was this new aero road Speedform, whose shaping wouldn’t be surprising at all if it were made of carbon, but this is an entirely titanium frame! A bit less shock is the AM64 Carbon, which leverages 3D-printing to create smooth ti seat cluster and bottom bracket junctions, allowing Laverack to slip in an extended carbon seattube & seat mast with a ti topper to mount your saddle.

Laverack describes their new Speedform as “the future of titanium aerodynamics”, which doesn’t even sound like an exaggeration when you look at this thing. We’ve seen loads of titanium bikes employ 3D-printing to improve integration and create smooth tubing transitions, and often paired with carbon tubes for their design flexibility. But really only last year’s No. 22 prototype ever presented a fully ti design that truly broke from conventional metal tube shaping.

Now, J.Laverack goes fully aerodynamic with a CFD-optimized, fully titanium frame design that we couldn’t distinguish from carbon if it had been painted.

How did they do it?

Over the past 2 years, Laverack developed the Speedform’s shaping, not only the aerodynamics, but also how to build a ti bike without being constrained by ti tubing profiles. Instead of building tube-to-tube, the Speedform is 3D-printed from titanium in three sections. Then, they precisely welded together, and so well smoothed out the joints that I could maybe guess where one split was, but no more than that.

Next, Laverack collaborated with Loughborough University to analyze the aero gains compared to their conventional R J.Ack Disc road bike.

“The CFD analysis clearly demonstrated that J.Laverack’s new aero frame achieves a substantial aerodynamic benefit over conventional round-tube designs. At typical road cycling speeds [30-48kph], this equates to drag reductions of 20-26%, or savings of up to 17 watts — impressive gains achieved through intelligent design and advanced additive manufacturing.”

  • optimized aerodynamics for 30mm tires, with max 32+mm clearance
  • dropped seatstays for improved aerodynamics, rider comfort, and increased drivetrain stiffness
  • fully integrated hidden internal cable routing, via 1.5″ headset in the hourglass headtube
  • aero downtube shaping designed to transition smoothly from the full carbon Enve Road In-Route fork
  • threaded T47 bottom bracket
  • UDH dropout & removable braze-on style front derailleur mount
  • flat mount disc brakes & 12mm thru-axles
  • aero D-shaped 3D-printed titanium seatpost with hidden titanium wedge-style clamp
  • 3D-printed stem & headset covers for integrated routing with a separate conventional 31.8mm handlebar

Technically, the J.Laverack Speedform aero titanium road bike is still a prototype. So official pricing has not yet been set. But… Laverack is moving ahead with the bike and expects to offer it to consumers in very limited numbers from mid-2026. Each bike will feature custom geometry, tailored to the mm to each rider based on a parametric design.

Speedform is a statement of what’s possible when additive manufacturing meets craftsmanship,” says Oliver Laverack, Co-founder. “It’s elegant, efficient, and engineered for pure speed.

The new AM64 Carbon almost seems conventional compared to the fully ti Speedform. This is simply Laverack’s next step in their additively-manufactured AM64 family, swapping in a carbon seattube and mast to shed weight and improve compliance, while at the same time “retaining the flowing, minimalist aesthetic that defines the AM64 range”.

AM64 Carbon Tech Details

  • threaded BSA bottom bracket in 3D-printed ‘Streamline’ BB cluster
  • 3D-printed titanium seatmast topper
  • fully integrated hidden internal cable routing, via headset in a straight 1.5″ headtube
  • built with full carbon Enve In-Route forks
  • available in road, all-road, gravel, urban & mountain bike variants

The AM64 Carbon is available now to order in any of Laverack’s standard ti frames. That includes the R J.ACK road, J.ACK all-road, GRiT gravel, PILOT urban commuter, and CONTOUR XC mountain bikes. Stock geometry and raw finishes are standard. Custom paint and custom fit are available as extras. Pricing starts at £6,995 / €7,957 / $9,215 for an AM64 Carbon frameset. And complete bikes start at £9,745 / €11,085 / $12,838 depending on model and build spec.

looks nice, but I suspect it will be a bit on the heavy side. have RFQ’ed though =)

The carbon seat tube and Ti topper combo looks good but those 3D print seat clusters are looking generic now, so many brands doing the same thing.
