Jumping MTB Through Two Moving Trucks? Red Bull Stunts Continue to Get More Insane

From Rampage to Hardline, Red Bull has become synonymous with the most extreme forms of mountain biking. Outside of races, freeride, and slopestyle competition, individually sponsored Red Bull athletes are constantly pushing the limits and trying to one-up the insanity with stunts like Dawid Godziek’s ride on top of a moving train.

Somehow, Matt Jones’ latest triumph pushes the danger and insanity even higher with a perfectly timed jump through two moving autonomous semi trucks, moving in opposite directions. Thanks to precise control of the trucks from Scania, Red Bull’s engineers were able to devise a system that would ensure Matt had a perfect launch window through the two trailers while being pulled up to speed by an Audi SUV.

The jump is a thing of beauty, but one with very real consequences should something go wrong…

And if the professional rider failed to clear the stunt and got critically injured, would their sponsor have covered their medical bills and future cost of rehab.
