Locks are still at the core of Kryptonite’s business, but their lights also continue to improve. It’s still a little odd to talk about something other than locks from Kryptonite, but they’re hoping that lumens in compact, affordable packages will make riders think both protection and illumination when they see that Kryptonite yellow.

Most recently, Kryptonite has upped their maximum lumens to a full 800 with the Alley F-800. They’ve also decreased their minimum lumens to 150 with the Street F-150 for new options at the top and bottom of the range.

For the rest of the existing models, many have gotten a 50 lumen increase moving from 250 to 300, 450 to 500, etc. Even with the boost in total lumens, the lights carry the same retail price as before.

The Alley F-800 is available by itself for $77.95, or you can buy it as a set with the Avenue R-75 COB (chip on board) tail light for $105.95.

All of the lights are available now.

None of them are STVZO standard bicycle specific lights, it means the symmetrical flaslight beam will easily blind upcoming traffic.
