Lazer just dropped an all new helmet, and this one is pretty interesting. But not for the reasons you might expect. Lately, Lazer has been dropping helmets with all kinds of adjustable venting, additional features, and very distinct styling. The new Coyote on the other hand is a very simple mountain bike helmet with some fresh new looks.
Featuring more rounded vent profiles and without the continuous ridge lines running from front to back like their other MTB helmets, the Coyote is a sharp looking helmet that also keeps the price fairly low.
Like other Lazer MTB helmets, the Coyote features their Turnfit Plus retention system with an optional LED rear light. While the helmet doesn’t offer anything along the lines of MIPS (yet), LDL, or other rotational impact protection systems, the helmet does offer extended rear coverage and a full EPS construction with additional Bottomshell finishing. Lazer just updated us with the expected delivery of a MIPS version of the Coyote in a month for $99.99.
Priced at $80, the Coyote is available in four colors and is available now.
