Buying a Lazer helmet could help save your head. Now it could also help save someone else. Thanks to the new Buy One, Save Another program, the purchase of a new Lazer helmet will directly help to donate helmets to get more kids (safely) on bikes.
Can’d Aid is built on the premise of “Do Good. Feel Good.” From their Treads+Trails program to donating canned drinking water to those in need, like those without clean drinking water due to the winter storm in Texas, Can’d Aid does a lot of good for a lot of people.
This time, in partnership with Lazer Helmets, the Buy One, Save Another program will lead to donations of the Lazer Gekko kids helmet to worthy kiddos. Right off the bat, Lazer is donating 200 Gekko helmets. On top of that, for every 10 Lazer helmets sold, they will donate one Gekko helmet.
The catch? You have to head over to their Product Registration page, and register your helmet. This will directly benefit you, however, as it will extend your helmet warranty from 12 months to 24 months.
According to Lazer, “With the Buy One, Save Another program, Lazer aims to get more kids on bikes and help protect them while they ride. Kicking off the campaign, Lazer will donate 200 helmets to get started and then every registered helmet will count toward the donation program. Lazer is excited to support Can’d Aid and its mission to build community and foster outdoor opportunities for youth. The non-profit helps promote healthy and active lifestyles by providing kids with skateboards and bikes as well as organizing volunteers to build multi-use trails.”
The program will run from March 1st to the end of May.
