When we caught up with Tadej Pogačar and his Colnago V4Rs bikes on the flat and hilly stages at this year’s Tour de France, he was riding the deeper SES 6.7s. But each of the Slovenian’s road stage victories up the French mountains were on the mid-depth 50mm front / 56mm rear Enve SES 4.5 wheels.
Pogačar raced with standard all-yellow wheel decals for most of the Tour. But his UAE team worked with all of their sponsors to go all-out with extra yellow details for the final day’s podium, even if Pogačar didn’t get to ride down the Champs-Élysées this year because of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
