Louis Garneau’s new P09 aero helmet has a few characteristics of note, as you can see in the video. Thinner padding and three sizes allows the overall profile of P09 to be smaller while the unique tail both allows reduced turbulence from air flowing over the shoulders of the rider, while, along with gill-like speed port vents on each side of the helmet, allowing air to flow out of the helmet rather than getting trapped inside. The visor on the P09 is also improved by allowing for single hand attachment and removal and lifting up so you can easily put the helmet on or off making for efficient transitions. There’s also an optional plug for the front vent opening.
In addition to the tour, the P09 has already boasted success in tri.
