If you’ve been riding for awhile, the positioning of your brakes might not be something you give much thought. But to a beginner or even intermediate rider, the idea of adjusting the brakes to better fit your hands may not even register as something you can do. Because of that, Magura has teamed up with SQLab to create what they’re calling the “first ergonomics guide for brake adjustment.”
Starting with the lateral positioning of the master cylinder on the bar itself, the guide walks you through the steps of determining the best starting angle of the lever, and the reach adjustment based on your hand size.
There’s also a grip size template to help dial in the thickness of your grips which will likely correspond best to SQLab’s own grips, but can easily be translated to other brands as well.
