Having more than your fair share of crashes lately? Might want to cover all the angles: Bring your bike, skates or non-motorized scooter to the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine on Saturday, April 10th, in New York City. Event starts promptly at 9:30 a.m.–do not be late as this is a short event! Riders of all ages and faiths are welcome as Reverend Tom says a few words, sprinkles your bikes with holy water, and then offers a moment of silence for cyclists we’ve lost in the past year. For more information and to make any suggestions for the event check out their website. There will be a passing of the ‘helmet’, all donations are voluntary and will go to the church.

Thanks to Kevin R. for the tip!

Religion is probably the biggest individual ‘cancer’ that humanity faces.
As tolerance for it wains, humanity progresses.
It saddens me deeply that people with whom I share a common love (cycling), have failed to activate their brains.
