Just weeks after announcing the return of the legendary Deemax yellow wheels, Mavic has another product under the same name. This time, Mavic is offering a new helmet with the integrated protection of MIPS.

Mavic Deemax helmet with MIPS

Designed for protection on the rugged trails worthy of the Deemax name, the 2024 version of the Deemax MIPS helmet offers extended coverage similar to many enduro half shells. Inside, you’ll find integrated MIPS technology with the telltale yellow liner. Out front, a multi position adjustable visor allows for goggles to be stored underneath.

One of the more unique features of the helmet is the Mavic Autofit strap system. This is a system Mavic has used previously that utilizes tubular webbing for the ear cradles, which allows the chin strap to rotate around the ear cradle for perfect position of both. The helmet also uses their Ergo Hold SL-3 position retention system for a dialed fit.

A Fidlock magnetic buckle, Coolmax padding, mesh bug screens, and an eyewear tunnel complete the Deemax MIPS. Offered in three colors and S, M, and L sizing, the helmet sells for $156.
