Ride bikes, drink beer. That sums it up pretty nicely right? Especially when your bike company is the side project of the beloved Oskar Blues Brewery. Known for strong beers that come in a can, their show bikes at NAHBS were also beautiful creations made out of metal, welded up by Chris Sulfrian. This green machine doesn’t look much out of the ordinary, until you realize it is a 650b dirt jumper. One of the first that we’ve seen, with 650b popping up in every other discipline is dirt jumping next? We’re guessing no, but that doesn’t mean Reeb’s first 650b bike isn’t awesome. Also one of the few DJ bikes we’ve seen running a belt drive, the True Temper OX platinum frame is welded up with a 44mm Paragon head tube, with a Gates compatible Paragon sliding 142x12mm dropout.
This is the bike that initially got our attention. Apparently one of the first custom Pinion builds in the US, working directly with Pinion, Reeb took the gear box and went nuts with a Gates Belt Drive and 29+ wheels and tires.
What’s not to love? You get an 18 speed trail bike that has the potential to be maintenance free (to a point). The rest of the bike uses a Whiskey N0.9 carbon fork in a Paragon 44mm head tube which sports the sweet hand mounted head badge. We hope that you’ll be seeing more of this bike in the future.
Meet TyReeb – a bike with the same geometry as their steel SFP frames, but in Titanium. This TyReeb has a sweet Dale’s Pale Ale theme with custom laced Industry Nine Enduro wheels to match, and an MRP 140mm Stage fork up front.
Another beer bike, this one based on the mighty TenFidy stout. Called the Sam’s Pants Alfine Di2 build, the bike combines the electronic drivetrain with a Gates Belt for a “fast ass commuter.” The bike is based on their Sam’s Pants gravel grinder, so it has clearance for up to 32mm tires as shown.
