Nokomis Jacket and Nokomis Pant Guy Standing with Bike

Coming to us from Minneapolis, MN is O2 Rainwear from Rain Shield, Inc.  O2 produces light-weight, breathable, rain gear.  New for 2011, they have the Calhoun and Nokomis products lines.  The names spawn from two of the city’s lakes.

O2 uses a breathable fabric they call 3Flow to help keep you dry, but allow your skin to breath more than a traditional rain jacket would.   The material has a layer of microscopic pours that keep out the wet stuff, but still manages to let you skin air out so you aren’t drenched in sweat at the start of your ride.  If you’re a bit skeptical, no worries, as we have the Nokomis jacket and pants on review.  Portland, OR should prove to be a good testing grounds, and I will have my full review up after testing the gear for a couple of months.

Head on past the break for the product specifics, including pricing and photos.

The Calhoun looks very similar to Mavic Helium or was it Hydrogen…
