As we enter into our favorite time of year to ride a mountain bike, Niner’s celebrating it with limited edition colors of their racy JET 9 and terrain crushing RIP 9 alloy bikes for Fall.

The RIP 9 gets a Blue Bluer color scheme, and the JET 9 comes in a Black Orange. Build options are X1 or Deore, $3,300 and $2,300 respectively. Framesets are $1,849. All are based on the air formed alloy frame and are available in limited quantities while they last.

Jump past the break to see a video of the Jet 9 carving the lush Pisgah National Forest like warm pumpkin pie….

I am hoping the alloy version does not vanish. I love my Jet9, but not sure I will go to the carbon version when it comes time to replace my 2011.

Finally niner is marketing to area of the country where riders fully embrace the 29er!! and don’t pejoratively call them wagon wheelers – tight twisty rooty rocky eastern single track. The west coast boys can have their tiny wheels
