Way back in 2022, No.6 was introduced by No. 22 as their in-house component brand. As stated by co-founder Bryce Gracey, “We created No. 6 as a sister brand to No. 22 because we could not find a fork on the market with the specifications we desired for our Titanium bikes. Our forks manage a wider tire clearance than other products while maintaining low weight and fantastic ride quality. All No. 6 Forks are now available for direct purchase in addition to our dedicated frame builder program.”
Now, in addition to the Gravel, Road Disc, and Road Rim brake carbon forks, No. 6 is getting an Adventure model added to the lineup. Like their past forks, the carbon Adventure fork was created to offer specs that were hard to find on existing forks coupled with a low 404g weight with an uncut steerer.
Along with the typical three-pack accessory mounts on the side of the fork legs, the fork offers full fender mounts, and internal routing for a dynamo system.
Offered only with a 1 1/8 – 1 1/2″ tapered steerer, 50mm rake, and 398mm axle-to-crown, the fork offers 700c x 50mm tire clearance (with 5mm of clearance on either side of the tire) or 650b x 2.3″. Brake cable routing is either semi-internal entering at the top of the fork leg, or fully internal entering through the steerer.
