Ok, so you could totally race in the Evolution line, but that’s not the point. When Northwave set out to design the Evolution line, they specifically wanted to tailor it to the sportive, or gran fondo rider. People who are out riding long distance organized rides, or training rides who need technical performance wear, but at the same time need all day comfort and additional organization for supplies and cue cards.
What’s more, is the fact the Evolution was even designed to flatter the figure of riders who aren’t quite pro cyclists, with a forgiving cut, and a purposely dark jersey front to try and hide any Lycra abominations due to wearing a light jersey over dark shorts.
