Keith Anderson's Green Margarita Machine Custom Frame with Custom Paint

Keith Anderson is a staple of the Oregon cycling community.  He has been doing custom bicycles, custom paint, and providing restoration services for years.  This year he showed up with a project he did just for himself.  The green he used for this margarita cycle was a color he had in his head, but no one produced.  So, he started mixing until he got just what he wanted.

Head on past the break to see all the fine little details of this frame and fork.

Keith’s view is that steel wouldn’t be steel without carbon.  I like his style.

Keith Anderson's Green Margarita Machine Steel Fork Painted to Look Like Carbon Fiber

Keith took it one step further and painted the front fork with a faux carbon fiber pattern.  However, there is a nasty gap between the fork crown and the bottom of the head tube.  To resolve this design issue, Keith said he is planning to do a new fork for this bicycle soon.

What would a margarita be without salt and a lime?

I’m suprised he’d bring that bike w/that gap in the fork/head tube. I don’t see any excuse for that…looks like he took a random fork and frame and painted them to match.

The paint is awesome tho!

Keith was customizing a different crown for this bike before the Max crowns showed up; we agree that that one will look much more integrated.

Now to come up with an even MORE devious scheme for the new fork…

Yeah man, the gap sucks. And what about that stupid chicken wishboney thingey on the back end? Huh?
