Showing their support for the ongoing struggles of the people of Ukraine, Obed bikes has put together an auction for a GVR gravel bike, “proudly painted in the colors of the Ukrainian flag”. There will be only one winner of the auction, and only one frameset of their latest aero carbon gravel bike will be painted in the yellow and blue of Ukraine, but you can always make your own donation direct to the same UNICEF fund as Obed.
Stand with Ukraine: Obed GVR gravel bike
Obed is painting up one of their new GVR aero carbon gravel bikes in the colors of the Ukrainian flag as a show of support to the suffering people of Ukraine. The full proceeds of the winning 100% tax-deductible bid of the auction will be donated to UNICEF’s Protect Children in Ukraine Fund.
The auction winner will get the custom painted GVR frameset in the size of their choice, to build up as they please. Bids are open now and accepted through March 25, four days from now. There’s a countdown timer on their auction page, a list of all current bids, and a direct link to donate directly to UNICEF.

Full details of the new ~1kg bike with 700 x 48mm tire clearance, which debuted just at the start of February are available in our launch coverage, here.
Obed also shared they decided to halt all bike sales to Russia & Belarus, until the invasion of Ukraine is resolved, saying, “It’s a difficult decision, but one that must occur to exert pressure, wherever possible, in an effort to condemn the Russian government aggression and violence.”
“Obed is proud to stand with those who fight for what is right, and so we #StandWithUkraine.”
