Pas Normal Studios’ T.K.O. line is the passion project of their fashion-first founder, knocking out ever-changing limited edition designs that break away from basic solid colors and a rotating color palette of earth tones. It is winter after all, and a splash of color can go a long way towards boosting morale to head out for another long, grey ride outside. Not to overlook, a bit better visibility when sharing the road with traffic. Or even if you are riding inside on the trainer or catching a flight to a warm winter getaway, some TKO color could help with motivation to keep pedaling.

While we immediately think Technical Knock-Out when we see TKO, the limited edition line is, in fact, the signature collection of Pas Normal’s co-founder Karl-Oskar Olsen. His actual first name is Thomas, combined with Karl-Oskar for his TKO moniker. (Better incorrect etymology than what we all see with that PNS abbreviation, though.) He is the fashion designer half of the Danish cycling clothing company, so his initials adorn the special editions where artwork stands out. But lest you worry, Pas Normal only puts TKO designs on their more performance-oriented kit, so you get design mated to tech, too.

In fact, one of the highlights of this AW25 TKO line-up is Pas Normal’s most advanced Mechanism Thermal Jacket, well-suited for cold & wet winter riding. And the other is the new TKO-only Woven Long Sleeve Jersey, created for better breathability during high-intensity cold-weather training. Both are men’s cuts only this year, as Pas Normal says they are women’s versions of both to launch next winter.

Both get decorated with bold TKO logos over colorful nature-inspired swirls, and can be paired with matching dark colored thermal tights. Plus, there’s a few extra TKO winter accessories and a full family of TKO kit for riding in warmer weather, too.

TKO Mechanism Thermal Jacket

This one is really the technical highlight of the 2025 TKO winter kit. This race fit jacket is already in the regular Mechanism family, but the insulated softshell with its DWR-treated Windtex Pro 3-layer membrane fabric is built for riding in cold, wet & windy conditions. And now it comes with more interesting blue & green swirls.

The 470€ TKO Mechanism Thermal Jacket comes in 6 men’s sizes (XS-XXL) and features ultrasonic-welded seams, a YKK Vislon Aquaguard zipper, 10,000mm water-resistance, and high breathability (7m²Pa/W per ISO 11092). Plus, there are drain holes in the 3 rear pockets, a zippered wallet pocket, extended cuffs, extra grid fleece insulation in the collar, and a silicone rear gripper.

TKO Woven Long Sleeve Jersey

This one is quite interesting, because it is an all-new piece, but Pas Normal hasn’t shared too much about it yet.

Pas Normal based this on the cut of the Mechanism Thermal Jersey, which is made of a brushed fleece knit Schoeller fabric. The new TKO Woven jersey then, substitutes in a single-layer Italian stretch woven fabric with a fleeced inner surface. The fabric shift promises similar warmth and wind protection, but with better breathability. And importantly, like we saw with Pas Normal’s excellent Mechanism Pro line (and Rapha Shadow), the stretch woven construction itself is “superhydrophobic” making for much improved water-resistance that the fabric maker Taiana calls Lot ‘o’dry before it even gets a new no-PFAS-added C0 DWR finish.

The 300€ TKO Woven Long Sleeve Jersey comes in 7 men’s sizes (XXS-XXL) and gets similar swirls in shades of red.

More limited edition Winter kit

In addition to the two jackets, there are also men’s & women’s 300€ TKO Essential Thermal Long Bib tights in a color Pas Normal calls ‘dark purple’, but which is unsaturated enough that I might call it brown.

Then, Pas Normal add some 28€ Mechanism Thermal socks in white with black TKO logos, a 50€ stretchy blue multi-color TKO Merino (blend) Necktube that matches the thermal jacket (45%merino/40% polyester/10% polyamide/5% elastane), and a 400€ SuperRoubaix insulated fleece TKO Thermal Skinsuit for the onesie fans out there.

TKO kit to escape winter

If you don’t want to ride where it is so cold and wet, but still want that new TKO style, Pas Normal has some limited editions of their popular Mechanism short (205€) & long (230€) sleeve jerseys – both in matching swirls or contours and some color choices for each, both for men & women. Plus, 280€ Mechanism Bib shorts in matching ‘dark purple’, too. In fact, that standard Mechanism long-sleeve jersey has been TKO’s best-seller for the last 3 years, which is why it gets a premier position at the top of this article!

Or add a 24€ Off-Race cotton bandana or 18€ Tacx water bottle for on- and off-the-bike use.

Lastly, if there’s anything left in your wallet, you could spring for a 50€ TKO baseball cap, 120€ cotton tees, or 130€ long-sleeve cotton t-shirt – all just to “Free Your Spirit”.
