The organizers of the Philly Bike Expo announced yesterday the dates for the next show — and they aren’t in 2023. The next time the bike world gathers in the City of Brotherly Love will be March 16 and 17, 2024.
“It’s a bold step and a great move for us! There is so much energy for a springtime kickoff to the cycling season; we’re all really excited to move to March,” Philly Bike Expo director Bina Bilenky said in a press release. “We’ve been thinking about a spring date for a long time, and now is the right time to make this move.”
When March 2024 rolls around, attendees can expect all the same seminars, clinics, workshops, events, and activities as usual. Registration for exhibitor booths will open in late March 2022 (the specific date is unknown as of this writing.) The Expo will remain at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
While this news will disappoint bike nuts hoping to get their Philly fix this year, Bilenky remains upbeat.
“Industry interest in the Expo is getting stronger every year, and there’s growing excitement about the PBE Squad, an inclusive cycling movement we’re supporting which was founded on PBE-sponsored athletes and ambassadors,” she said.
