Pinarello is making it clear: the future of gravel is fast. The iconic Italian brand has unveiled its all-new flagship gravel race bike, the DOGMA GR, and introduced a redesigned (yet still very race-ready) Grevil F Series to complete its performance-driven off-road lineup.

This split personality in Pinarello’s gravel line is a natural progression. Just like a mullet gravel gravel race field (business in the front, party in the back), this update offers a machine for anyone looking for the classic snappy Pinarello ride.

The DOGMA GR is the product of UCI gravel racing and riders seeking a bike that straddles the line between road and gravel performance. What it lacks are the more classical elements of a gravel bike, the versatility, the capability, and, essential (in the US market), larger tire clearance. That, however, is where the Grevil F comes in. However, there is much more to these bikes than tire clearance and stiffness, so let’s examine them piece by piece.

DOGMA GR – Fast Gravel UCI
For most, if not all, of us familiar with the Pinarello brand, the DOGMA name evokes visions of Grand Tour glory. It’s the pinnacle of the brand’s tech and performance. Pinarello doesn’t throw the DOGMA name around, and with good cause. It not only denotes performance, but price. These are the bikes designed for professionals and riders who seek the same level of performance.

DOGMA Design
The DOGMA GR blends some of the best characteristics of Pinarello’s on and off-road offerings. It’s like taking the feel of the Crossista, adding a more road-oriented nose to the frame, similar to the DOGMA F, and combining it with the playful nature of the DOGMA XC. Translating to a frame that’s responsive out of the saddle, yet absorbs gravel chatter and vibrations. But not so much to dull the explosiveness of the bike. Pinarello visualizes the DOGMA GR for races under five hours, all-out efforts where aerodynamics, compliance, and weight savings make the difference between the podium and pack fodder.
Why not make the Grevil “faster”? From Pinarello’s perspective, these are two different ideas. The athletes racing the DOGMA are competing in more “fast gravel” events, such as UCI races or Unbound, as well as others where the speeds are significantly higher overall.

DOGMA GR Frame details
The frame underwent an overhaul for gravel; it’s now claimed to weigh just 960g, with a complete build (SRAM XPLR) coming in at 7.30kg (16lbs.). The frame is crafted from Premium M40X (with the same tensile modulus as DOGMA F), featuring clearance for a 42mm rear and 45mm front tire. The fork is an updated Onda GR design featuring a vibration-damping layup and an integrated, hidden thru-axle, as well as a 5 mm rake. As mentioned above, the DOGMA GR also features a nose-shaped (speed sniffing) headtube for a cleaner aero profile and is available in nine sizes for a tailored fit.

Some of the practical notes on the DOGMA frame include a high-placed downtube storage compartment. Designed for easy in and out, and the ability to run high-volume water bottles without frame interference. The frame features a top tube mount for bento box snacking, but that’s it; there are no other mounts or fenders – this is all about racing.

Gravel Race Custom Components
The DOGMA GR utilizes a new Talon Ultrafast GR bar, designed with a 7° flare, available in three different variations and featuring gravel TT bar compatibility.

The seatpost also underwent a gravel redesign, offering most of the seated compliance found in the DOGMA. It’s an adaptive design, with a claimed 8mm of flex coming from a unique bend in the post. The design is elegant and practical, but we’ll delve into that more in our review here.

Pinarello DOGMA GR Geometry
The idea behind the Pinarello DOGMA GR geometry is a stable ride, always keeping the bike in traction while offering that fun, responsive Crossista F DNA. The Pinarello DOGMA GR comes in nine sizes for a tailored fit, with bar options aplenty for a maximum dialed fit.

Pinarello DOGMA GR Build Options
With a premium-level bike like any DOGMA, you’re not going to see a lot of 105 or Apex options. The DOGMA GR is the same; riders can choose between SRAM RED XPLR AXS or Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 builds, paired with top-of-the-line Princeton Grit 4540 EVO wheels.

Pinarello DOGMA GR Pricing
- SRAM RED AXS: $14,500 / €14,000 / £12,500
- Shimano Dura-Ace Di2: €14,000 / £12,000 (not available in the US.)
- Frameset: €6,700
- Colors: Interstellar Grey Matt, Luxter Blue Shiny, Black on Black

Pinarello Grevil F Series: Tailored to Perform Everywhere
The Pinarello Grevil F Series is the yin to the DOGMA GR yang. The line has been completely reimagined to meet the growing demands of modern gravel racing. Not just fast-paced efforts but multiday ultra-distance events. Pinarello focuses on customization, comfort, and performance.
The new Pinarello Grevil F lineup now offers five models, each utilizing distinct carbon layups and components to deliver tailored ride experiences for a diverse range of riders and budgets.

What is the Pinarello Grevil F?
The idea has evolved slightly for this concept. It was the gravel race machine for Pinarello (and still is), but now it offers more versatility, compliance, and price options. However, don’t think of this as the “slow” model in the lineup. Riders like Ramon Sinkeldam raced this all season, taking a win at Gravel Locos 110. Think of it as a more US-style gravel design, with 50mm tire clearance and mounts for multiday events or camping, but with the race DNA of Pinarello.

Pinarello Grevil Frame Details
The Pinarello Grevil F is a very modular frame when compared to its DOGMA GR brethren. It boasts an entire ecosystem of accessories and solutions for long-haul events and adventures. Helped along with an updated 50mm of tire clearance, a slightly longer top tube (paired with a shorter stem for better off-road handling), and geometry optimized for longer (5+) hours in the saddle.

The Grevil frame itself underwent an aero and compliance makeover. The Grevil now offers entirely internal cable routing and relatively easy maintenance (for an internally routed frame) with the updated cockpit setup.

The downtube underwent a complete aero makeover (because, in those long events, seconds add up), and it seamlessly transitions into a newly beefed-up bottom bracket section. The downtube has a revamped shape and profile, which Pinarello says provides better overall stiffness while enabling better integration with a larger water bottle (up to 750ml) and the frame bag. It has the same frame storage port as the DOGMA GR, and a tool bag can be inserted into the frame.

This extremely stiff bottom bracket is very similar in shape to the one found on the DOGMA F. When paired with the new twin-arm seatstay junction, it offers a unique blend of compliance and responsiveness. The new seatstay design also reduces mud buildup.

Like the DOGMA GR, the Grevil F is a newly updated fork that arrives in a 50mm or 55mm rake, depending on size. This redesigned fork is lighter than the previous model and has a cleaner interface with the downtube. Pinarello says this offers a significantly improved dampening effect to ensure optimum traction on rougher trails.
Like the DOGMA GR, the Grevil supports a new adaptive seatpost. This time, the seatpost offers more vertical flex, reaching a claimed 10mm of compliance for added comfort.

Let’s Talk Carbon Layup
What differentiates the models of the Grevil F comes down to carbon layup and component spec. Through the F9-F1 offerings, Pinarello strategically chose carbon that would produce the best use case for the rider.
For example, the F9 and F7 framesets use Torray T900 UD carbon. It’s well known for being lightweight and stiff. Something that the F9 and F7 riders would appreciate, and pairs well with the Dura Ace and SRAM Red build offerings.
The Grevil F3-F5 framesets utilize Toray T700 UD series carbon. Still a great material, but it doesn’t have the lightness of the T900. However, it has vibration-reducing qualities that help smooth out rough roads. Additionally, it’s more impact-resistant, making it a good pairing for a bike that may encounter rough terrain.
Lastly, the Grevil F1, the entry-level model, is constructed with T600 Toray carbon. This carbon is more well-rounded and highly impact-resistant when compared to the T900 and T700 offerings.

Geometry and Sizing
Compared to last year’s model, the Grevil F grew 1cm longer in the toptube, and now arrives with a shorter stem. Pinarello said this small adjustment will deliver improved off-road handling and confidence for riders.
