Pisgah Mountain Bike Stage Race Coming In October

Mark your calendars for October 15th- 18th, 2009 for the Pisgah Mountain Bike Stage Race (the largest cash purse stage race in America). 4 days, 145 miles, and 38,000 ft of elevation gain! All four days are added together for an overall time that will determine the top winners. “This is designed as a true race, not a test of survival.” says race promoters. 

Included in the riders already registered are Jeremy Bishop, US National Marathon and Short Track Champion and two riders from Guatemala. Bishop said “When I dream of an awesome mountain bike adventure, I think of trails like those being used in the Pisgah Mountain Bike Stage Race. I can’t wait to get down there and ride.”.
