NOTHING! Police found nothing after searching an Astana team van for three hours. The van was carrying extra bikes, equipment and food in the 2009 Tour de France from the start of stage 16 in Martigny, Switzerland to the finish in Bourg St. Maurice, France.
“They were very thorough and opened every suitcase, every container and found nothing,” Astana spokesman Philippe Maertens told the Agence France Presse. No drugs, EPO, paraphernalia, spare legs, clones, assault weapons, or anything else they may have been looking for. C’mon people; Astana is clean, fast and on the level.
