Back in February we informed you lovely readers about Pure Fix Cycles.  At that time, they were selling a $299 fixed gear bike direct from their website.  The bike came in six different color schemes, and the only size was a 56cm frame.

Well, it looks like they have stepped their game up a half step with their newest shipment.  While you still can’t customize your ride from the factory, you now have 16 different color combinations to choose from.  They now have a limited size range as well.  On offer are small (52cm), medium (56cm), and large (60cm). The build kit has been has been upped to include Oury grips, wellgo pedals and cages, 43mm deep rims with one spoke a different color, radius brakes, a sealed bottom bracket, Kenda 700×25 tires, and a Vader saddle.  The parts will be bolted on to a tig-welded hi-tensile steel frame.  Along with the new specs come a price bump as well.  $325 (plus free shipping) brings this turn-key hipster fixie home.

Hate’n time! From a distance these things look good, but up close the story is different. They weigh a ton for a ss/fixed gear bike, the components are rubbish… I love Oury grips, but that’s not a selling point, i could go on but i don’t care.
