Charity Water

Pure Fix has built their business on mail order fixed gear bicycles. Offering a plethora of colors, a few different styles, and parts and accessories, Pure Fix is growing. Their latest project however, is something they can’t fix. At least not alone. Pure Fix has teamed up with charity: water to help those who one of their biggest challenges on a daily basis is just finding clean water. To do so, Pure Fix has put together two custom builds, with $100 from the sale of each bike going to charity: water’s operations teams.

Like other Pure Fix bikes, the Yankee on the left, and Uniform on the right feature flip flop hubs to run fixed or free depending on your mood or skills. Each bike is offered in multiple sizes, and can be customized with different grips, bars, or other accessories. Both bikes retail for $325, meaning that $100 donation to charity: water is a pretty big chunk – good on them for that.

Thanks for featuring this collaboration. It’s not everyday companies make a decision to give away such a large portion of their proceeds to support causes. Always good to see.
