Rapha’s on a roll this season — just last month, the apparel company revealed updates to its Pro Team, Brevet, and Explore cycling kits. Now, it’s back to the MTB arena with its new Fast + Light staples.
Rapha Fast + Light MTB collection
The Fast + Light line is streamlined and straightforward: pants, shorts, and tees for men and women.
According to Rapha, it modified four of its proven fall/winter Trailwear designs by prioritizing three key elements: weight savings, heat management, and ventilation. Trials with athletes like Eliot Jackson helped the team optimize each piece for versatility, “from jib sessions to marathon pedal fests.”
The mountain bike collection is meant to be everything you need on the trail during the warmer months and nothing you don’t.
Trail Fast + Light shorts and pants
Both the Trail shorts and pants use a lightweight, four-way stretch, abrasion-resistant fabric with DWR coating. Both men’s and women’s styles include a left thigh zip pocket and an internal phone sleeve. The men’s feature an additional rear zippered pocket.
Where men’s and women’s options vary structurally is in the waistband. The men’s shorts and pants use an adjustable webbing system (which testers seem to love), whereas the women’s use a low-profile stretch system.

Trail Fast + Light tanks and t-shirts
The t-shirt and women’s tank use a 68% recycled polyester blend. The fabric offers antibacterial and moisture-wicking functions and UV protection.
