REEB Cycles and Industry Nine are teaming up to offer limited edition Bronze Project builds on REEB’s SST and STEEZL models. If you’re a fan of American manufacturing, steel frames, and eye-catching anodized parts, this collaboration looks like it might be worth your attention. And if your attention has been caught, you might want to act fast. These limited edition bikes are only available in limited quantities now through August 31st.

Built around either the REEB SST (120 mm travel) or the REEB STEEZL (140 or 155 mm) frames, the Bronze Project builds feature a custom pearlescent Ice Cold Blue powdercoat paint job. Putting the bronze in the Bronze Project name, the rest of the build is dripping in Industry Nine’s anodized bronze goodness, including the suspension rockers, seat clamp, headset, stem, hubs, and spokes.

We’ve reported on previous Reeb collaborations before, including a limited edition SST Halo Build with Cane Creek. Similar to that build, “This collaboration with Industry Nine highlights American manufacturing and brings our Craft Your Ride mantra to life with a small batch of special builds that truly stand out from the crowd,” said Jeff Lenosky, Brand Director at REEB Cycles.

The builds vary slightly depending on the frame choice, but they both come with a nicely curated component list and include the latest Shimano XT Di2 wireless drivetrains and 4-piston brakes. Cane Creek’s Helm forks and rear shocks handle suspension duties, while Industry Nine wheels keep things rolling smoothly.

Missed a golden [bronze?] opportunity to run custom decals on the fork. Would really make that logo pop.

The only bronze (copper) chain I know of is the XX1 Eagle, which would not be compatible with 12-speed Shimano drivetrains.
