Gee Milner’s Dream Build series is already a can’t-miss. Each 15-minute video is an exercise in Zen and the Art of Bicycle Maintainance, functioning as a much-needed tonic to the frenetic pacing found on the rest of YouTube. And his latest? Absolute perfection.

In the vid, Milner assembles an Unno Dash in front of a stunning backdrop as gorgeous as it is simple: mountain, sky, lake. What more could you need?

How about a Dash with Fox Factory suspension, Race Face Era crankset, Crankbrothers E11 wheels, and more?

Hit play and prepare to drool over this bicycle build ASMR.

I find these ‘dream build’ and similar video’s an absolute bore fest.
A guy with access to the most expensive frames and parts, and a complete sponsored tool set, putting it together just as it is supposed to be put together. Yawn.

I wanna see real people, tinkerers, problem solvers, creative thinkers, who get their hands dirty and make something cool out of what they have available. With little problems to overcome, dirty tricks, their own twist on doing things, and ending up with a cool, unique build with character.

Couldn’t agree more. You might like ‘paul brodies garage’.

I do! Paul has such a pleasant presence… talking about ‘relaxing’ to watch, it doesn’t get better than Paul Brodie.
And of course he also has some real knowledge and experience to share, and loads of stories. In fact, I even watch his video’s about motor cycles, even though I am really not in to anything motorized 🙂
