Same Pack, More Storage
From the front, the Restrap’s new Rolltop Hydration Vest is a mirror image of their Race Hydration Vest. The Rolltop features the same stretch mesh front pockets for holding water bottles or snacks, while a zippered water-resistant pocket keeps items like phone, keys, and a wallet secure.
Prioritizing comfort and a perfect fit, the Rolltop Hydration Vest features three adjustment points — the shoulders, sides, and chest. The vest is secured with stretch webbing on the chest, which has five separate adjustment points up and down. Routing for a hydration hose is on either shoulder strap, allowing the user to choose the side they feel most comfortable with.
Furthering a promise of a perfect fit, Restrap offers the Rolltop in two sizes — S/M and L/XL. These size differences don’t affect the carrying capacity of the hydration vest; instead, they are intended to ensure a comfortable fit tailored to body type. The back, main storage compartment is where the significant changes are seen. While the Race Hydration Vest featured 5.5L of storage capacity via a zippered pocket, the new Rolltop sees 14L of storage total. The rolltop compartment is entirely waterproof and separate from the 2L bladder storage pocket, protecting its contents should there be a leak. Once rolled, the top is secured with a Fidlock buckle in the front and traditional buckles on the side.
More mesh pockets are located on the outside of the Rolltop Hydration Vest. Two water bottle holders are on the left and right, with one larger mesh pocket between. This larger pocket is perfect for storing items such as a rain jacket.
