Revin Cycling has just launched a couple of new carbon gravel road riding wheels called the G21 & G21 Pro. Much like their other road & trail wheels, the G21s are tubeless ready and feature proven DT Swiss hubs, but now with a gravel friendly 21mm internal and for disc brakes only.

Revin affordable carbon G21 gravel road bike wheels

Revin Cycling started just last year after building on years of designing & sourcing products for other companies in cycling, with E27 & E29 mountain bike and R35 road wheels. All of their wheels use well made Asian carbon rims that they develop and/or refine, paired to some of the best performing components in the industry – DT Swiss hubs and Sapim spokes.

The new gravel wheels were a project that sought to balance lightweight durability with a wider rim profile. As Revin Cycling’s Sean Lackey said, “After our first ride on these wheels we could not wait to get them to market. They are light, responsive, and really comfortable. They have added a whole new level of fun when we’re out on our gravel bikes.”

Tech details

Revin’s new G21 and G21 Pro both feature the same proprietary carbon rim with a 21mm internal/29mm external width and 28mm deep. The rims use a hooked bead and a shape that is tubeless compatible, and come with both 3M tubeless tape and tubeless valves. Both disc brake-only wheelsets are laced by hand to DT Swiss centerlock hubs with 28 straight pull spokes.

Revin’s wheels come with a decal sheet that lets you match the logos to your own bike, replace them if they get damaged, or presumably go stealth without any logos at all. As with all of their wheels the G21 and G21 Pro come with a lifetime warranty against material/manufacturing defects. There’s also a generous crash replacement program that will essentially re-lace the wheels at significant discount to make sure their original owner keeps riding them even if you crash hard.

Pricing & Availability

The top-level $1600 G21 Pro wheels are built around premium DT Swiss 240 hubs, with Sapim CX-Ray bladed aero spokes, and a claimed weight of 1460g.

The more affordable G21 wheels stick with DT’s workhorse 350 series hubs that still get a StarRatchet freehub, and opt for round double butted Sapim Race spokes. The G21 wheels weigh in at 1570g and sell for $1200.

Both new wheelsets will sell exclusively through Revin’s online retail partner JensonUSA, with the G21 Pro wheels available now, and the 350 hubbed wheels coming soon.

Hummm, my eye says they both get bladed spokes.
