Revin rolls out carbon MTB & Road wheels first for new premium component line up

Revin Cycling is making their debut with not just one, but four different wheelsets. Just who is Revin Cycling? The brand bills themselves as a premium cycling component brand which makes it sound like wheels are just the beginning. They also happen to be backed by Jenson USA which they say positions them such that they have access to some of the best manufacturers in Asia. They’ve also partnered with ACT Labs for their testing purposes to ensure the products stand up to abuse and include a lifetime warranty just in case.

On the mountain bike side, Revin offers the E27 and E29 for 27.5 and 29″ wheels. Both sizes are available in standard and Pro versions, with the Pro upgrading to a DT Swiss 240 hubset with Sapim CX-Ray spokes to drop the weight.

The Pro set even includes the 54t ratchet ring upgrade kit in the box (the 18t installed on the wheels), along with the necessary tubeless parts. The lower spec standard wheels still include the excellent DT Swiss 350 hubset and Sapim Racing Spokes for a quality build.

All of Revin’s current MTB rims measure 36mm externally, and 30mm internally with a 30mm depth. Revin says that the rims use a “hybrid modulus laminate with unique resins” to create a wheel that is purpose built for the intended use. They’re also all tubeless compatible with hookless MTB rims and hooked road rims.

Revin is also taking it to the streets with their R35 carbon road wheels. Built with a 24.5mm wide external, 17mm internal width carbon rim that’s 35mm deep, the R35s are also tubeless compatible. These rim brake only wheels include a proprietary brake track design that is said to excel at dissipating heat. The 20/24h combination includes DT Swiss 350 straight pull hubs with 100/130mm spaced QR axles.
