At this point it seems like there’s a day for everything. National Margarita Day. National Bacon Day. National Taco Day. And yes, National Doughnut day. Of course there are countless others, but I’m sticking with the cycling specific training foods, OK? To celebrate these somewhat dubious holidays, there are often limited edition products to go along with them and National (or International) Doughnut day does not disappoint.

In Portland, OR, it’s hard to read the word ‘doughnut’ and not think about Voodoo Doughnuts’ pink boxes filled with bacon covered, cereal covered, or even vegan treats. To celebrate the occasion, they’ve teamed up with fellow Portlanders, Chrome Industries, to create a Limited Edition Volcan Backpack.

If you’d rather wear your doughnuts rather than carry them, Garneau has a limited edition offering of their own. Initially created for Lea Davison and her love of donuts, the Donut Give Up (geddit?) kit will be available for pre-order from today until June 16th, and will ship in July. Both men’s and women’s jerseys and bibs are available which will leave you looking as colorful as one of The Loop doughnuts from Voodoo.
