Tifosi Optics, known for offering performance-oriented sunglasses at a wallet-friendly price, has launched its summer collection of three new models for on- and off-the-bike style and performance. From casual wear to pure performance, each model has a different purpose, but all of them noticeably pop in color.
Putting style front and center, Tifosi— already a massive player in the US active eyewear market — undoubtedly aims to appeal to an even bigger audience where bike wear and street fashion overlap. They launched the casual, square-framed Swank model earlier in the year, and are expanding their “Ride Off” line with two more highly-affordable, stylish yet well-performing models: The Swank and Smoove.
Here’s a quick look at the three new models.
Swick & Smoove: lifestyle look, high-tech performance
With the success of their recently launched Swank series, Tifosi learned that there are a lot of style-conscious athletes out there — cyclists who want that casual look when the ride ends and patio time begins.
And so they expanded their go-anywhere line with two new “fun” styles: The Stick and the Smoove.
Both feature a lifestyle design in a host of vibrant colors while staying true to Tifosi’s performance DNA.
Like Tifosi’s other models, the frame is made of the lightweight and flexible Grilamid TR-90 and paired with soft Hydrophilic rubber nose pads. The frame also features an integrated hinge and SWANK’s new Tifosi Glide technology, which helps the glasses slide on and off easily without pulling any hairs out.
The optical quality lenses are made of shatterproof polycarbonate with 100% UV protection, and are available in RX options.
The models differ slightly in shape and frame color – lens combinations. The Smoove for example has sightly rounded lenses while the Swick has a bold square outline. The retro-looking Swank comes in a large variety of popping colors and can be made-to-order via Tifosi’s Custom Lab.

The Alliant: Aggressive, full-coverage performance
With vast coverage and minimal framing, the Alliant is a pure performance-oriented sunglass that Tifosi calls “brawny and bad-ass”.
Part of Tifosi’s Crit line, the Alliant uses the brand’s highly flexible, lightweight Grilamid TR-90 frame material and couples it with exchangeable shatterproof and scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses. The Alliant sports eight vents for comfort and fog-prevention, adjustable ear and nose pieces for a personal fit, and grippy hydrophilic rubber to keep the glasses in place.
The Alliant is available in five colors with three different lenses, and starts at $69.95.
