Squid Bikes and Ass Savers have teamed up for a colorful collaboration to create 128 unique art designs for the popular strap-on Win Wing gravel bike fender. Each recycled plastic blank was individually hand-painted in Northern California in Squid’s beautifully chaotic rattle-can style, then headed back to Sweden for the final steps to turn it into a lightweight fender to strap onto your bike.

Limited edition Ass Savers x Squid Win Wing Gravel bike fender
We already know the 72g Ass Savers Win Wing Gravel fender very well. It’s my go-to for rear-end protection since last summer on every gravel bike I ride.
Just a bit more complex than the OG Ass Saver that clipped under your saddle, the Win Wing offers a lot more protection at just a little more weight & cost. It also still manages to fit pretty much every gravel bike we tried it with. And in addition, we’ve also seen how it can better protect dropper posts and rear suspension, too.
As for Squid, besides that cute logo, we love their unabashed adoption of colorful spray paint styling. Whether that’s the cartoonish DIY graphics we first saw from them almost a decade ago, or more recent graffiti- and late-80s splatter-inspired artwork. I mean, why do all bikes have to look the same, right?

Anyway, now you don’t need to go wild with a Spray.Bike rattle can to make your bike look unique. Just buy a $30 limited edition Ass Savers x Squid Win Wing Gravel fender. Squid made only 128 individual designs, in 1 of 30 different color combinations and general patterns. For that reason, some will look similar, but no two are the same.
You can only get them directly from Squid Bikes, and only until all 128 sell out. Generally, Squid’s idea is you just say yes to buying one, and they’ll ship you some random style. But you can ask for a specific style or color palette when you order, and they’ll work with you.

Standard Squid Kollection
So, say you miss out on the full Ass Savers x Squid limited artwork Win Wing. You can now also still get something along the same lines direct from Ass Savers. They’ve now also added a more permanent Squid Kollection inspired by the collaboration. These are conventionally screen printed – and less complex – one-color paint web designs. But it means you can pick up a purple Win Wing for gravel or pale red one for road for 26€, or a matching purple Mudder Mini front fender for just 13€.
