The Schwalbe One tire has been around for some time now, and is part of the company’s Evolution line of high performance, folding bead, clincher tires. Available on the USA market in black, blue stripes, dark silver stripes, red stripes and white stripes, these color choices provide a nice selection for those looking to match tires to their bikes.
But to those riders fond of skinwall tires, a retro look that has gained popularity of late, look no further than the newest version of the Schwalbe One V-Guard tire. Click on through…
The new color option is the brainchild of Guy McCausland of BikeBox, the Australian distributor for Schwalbe Tires.
Available only in 700 x 25c and in the tubed variety, the new color option is expected to be a big seller.
Now for the bad news. The skinwall Schwalbe One tire is only available to the Australian market.
The tire is available now, and for those visiting the 2017 Santos Tour Down Under, you can buy a pair direct at the Tour Village in Victoria Square, Adelaide, South Australia.
For everyone else across the planet, perhaps Schwalbe will realize there is a bigger market for this tire in the United States and elsewhere.
