Australia’s Knog, maker of cycling accessories and lights (including the Qudos action sports camera light) wants you to explore your dark side with their “No Ordinary Night” film contest.
To enter, all you have to do is make a movie at night or in low light, and it could be about anything- biking, surfing, partying at a music festival, etc. If you’re looking to win your video should contain action, talent, good editing, storytelling and of course originality.
Video entries are hosted on the contest website to collect votes, and the winning edits will be screened at 24 hour viewing parties held in seven different countries as part of Knog’s Global Film Festival. Prizes will be awarded for various categories including the best film, best film shot on a smartphone, most surprising entry, and more.
Prizes and where to enter next…
There’s over $15,000 USD in prizing up for grabs from companies like Camelbak, Cycles Galleria, Levi’s, Burton, TimBuk2 and more. The winner takes a $10,000 slice of that pie, but there are plenty of smaller prizes available. The No Ordinary Night film contest runs from March 2nd to May 24th, and the Global Film Festival will be held June 6th.
