The rumors have been circulating for awhile now, and with pictures like this that have been up on Sram’s facebook page for a few weeks, it’s only a matter of time until the veil of secrecy is removed. Actually, Sram just finished up their press camp in  Les Gets-Passportes du Soleil, so you can expect the news sooner rather than later.

Rumors have been flying about a DH specific XO group, which are pretty much confirmed with the XO derailleur pictured above with its Exact Actuation DH. What isn’t known, is whether it will go ten speed, or possibly fewer speeds as is the trend with micro cassettes on DH rigs.

In addition, there is a good chance that this will finally be the release of DLC coated stanchions for at least the Boxxer, along with other Rock Shox Forks. Also, I frankly wouldn’t be surprised to see the changes that have been announced for the current Elixirs, to find their way into the Codes or other brakes in the line up.

You can count on seeing it here, as soon as we get it. But, until then, you’ll just have to have a look at Greg Minnaar’s Blackbox equipped V10 after the break.
