Chrome’s latest bag is 100% waterproof, versatile, made in the USA, and built to last. Called the Barrage Cargo, the backpack gets its name logically from the cargo net compression system attached to the outside of the bag. Adjustable in size through compression bucks on the side of the bag, the cargo net can be used to strap down just about anything like helmets, shoes, wet gear, etc. With the versatile storage on the outside, the Barrage Cargo keeps things dry on the inside with a 100% welded seam waterproof bucket liner on the inside for complete protection from the elements.
The bag uses a roll top design that allows for the internal storage to expand from 22-34L while maintaining the water proof compartment. To construct the waterproof bucket liner, Chrome used 600 denier truck tarpaulin with fully welded seams inside a 1000 denier CORDURA brand grade nylon shell. Outside the bag you will find pockets for easy side access of U Locks or waterbottles, with an internal sleeve for up to a 15″ MacBook Pro.

In order to mount the bag to your back, Chrome fitted the Barrage with ergo shoulder straps with an EVA foam back panel to keep things comfortable. A sternum strap with a mini seatbelt buckle is included, but no waistbelt is used. Shoulder straps feature an industrial metal cam lock buckle to keep things tight.
The 11.5” wide, 20” high, and 5.5” deep Barrage will be offered in 4 colors – Graphite/Alpine, Graphite/black, Graphite/Crimson, and Ranger/Black for $160 retail and is guaranteed for life.
