By now, most cyclists, whether they be mountain bikers, roadies, or gravel enthusiasts, will agree that tubeless is a good thing. You can run lower tire pressures for improved grip in rough terrain, and it greatly reduces the frequency of punctures. For the few occasions on which the offending hole is too big for tire sealant to cope with, repair has never been easier.
Instead of carrying a spare tube and tire levers, all you need is a tire plugger and one or two plugs (aka anchovies, aka slugs, aka bacon strips). However, a tube is much less troublesome an object to carry than a tire plugger; you can’t simply stuff an inch-long metal skewer into your bib shorts or jersey pocket, unless you want to risk impaling yourself.

The kit has a fairly compact design weighing just 38g. It integrates a tire plugger and CO2 inflator head into one neat, threaded assembly made from 7075 aluminium.
The aluminium casing keeps the tire plugger safely tucked away when not in use. The central portion holds the three-part assembly together. The tire plugger can be unscrewed from the central piece leaving it as a standalone part that functions as a CO2 inflator head compatible with both Presta and Schrader valve types. Simply thread on a CO2 canister to rapidly release air through the valve to reinflate your tire.
