Having a bike with integrated tool storage is pretty sweet. But what can you do if your bike didn’t include that option from the factory? There are a number of tool integration options popping up, and the latest comes to us via Syncros. Their new iS Tailor cage looks like a pretty intriguing solution to storing the essentials and getting more weight out of your pockets or off your back.

At the heart of the system is the iS Tailor bottle cage. More than just another glass fiber reinforced nylon cage, the iS Tailor is designed to allow for either left or right side access to the bottle while providing easier side-mount entry.

Then, behind the bottle there is a sleeve for the 19 function multi-tool which includes a chain tool, chain link holder, and other essential tools. The cage is set up so that you access the bottle from one side while getting to the tool from the other.

Tools: Hex 2/2.5/3/4/5/6, PH2, Flat, T10/20/25/30, Hex 8mm, Chain tool, Disc pad wedge, Spoke key 3.22 / 3.45 / Mavic M7, Chain link holder, Tubeless valve core remover

Additionally, the cage is designed to work with other accessories to provide storage for a hand pump or CO2 inflator next to the cage, and the iS Accessory mount can be added underneath for tube storage if you have the room.

All together, it seems like a pretty good way to tailor to your individual storage needs, while making sure you always have the tools you need. Check with your local Syncros dealer for pricing.

Nice idea, but absolutely awful video. The video doesn’t allow you to see the details of the product with all the sub-screens popping up showing irrelevant animations, just too many things going on at the same time leaving me confused, irritated and dizzy.
Will try to get a look in the store if I can find it, will otherwise buy another competing solution from someone else.
Good luck Syncros, great marketing (not).
