The first eMTB built specifically to race the e-EWS? That’s the story behind the development of Yeti’s newest bike, the 160E. A development process that Yeti took their time with, considering the new challenges of creating a new suspension design that worked in harmony with an e-bike motor.

The first episode of The Learning focuses on how Yeti ‘took time to make time.’ As far as Yeti is concerned, if this bike works for the fastest racers in the world, it should also work for you, while delivering an e-bike that is all about going as fast as possible on the race course.

It’s always a wonder to me lapierre is not able to communicate on the cool things it builds outside French media. The lapierre glp 2 is now 2years old, was engineered for competition and won most races it was entered in. If I compare the specs I’m pretty sure it trash this yeti while being twice cheaper andalreadh quite long in the teeth.
Built as a mullet, short stay, centralised and lowered battery, lowest weight in the big motor category and the simply more powerful bosch motor.
10years ago they released a mid travel 29er the zesty 29 maybe 5years before everyone would do it a’d no one talked about that bike. Or the eishock suspension which is about 7 yo and is basically the same thing as sram flight attendant.
