Tout Terrain, who we know best for their adventure-ready and world-touring steel bikes, now has a new fast all-surface Ceres gravel & all-road bike. Don’t worry, it’s still steel and still built for the long haul. But now you can pick up more speed and feel more wind in your face on a Tout Terrain built for all-day rides, ultra-distances, and high pace gravel racing.

There’s a lot that sets the new Ceres apart from Tout Terrain’s standard adventure style bikes. It features more race-focused geometry, with a lower bar position, longer reach, and steeper headtube angle. Plus, it features a thin-wall triple-butted steel frame with slightly dropped seat stays that Tout Terrain says provides a balance of lightweight, durability, and a classic steel ride for all-day comfort, even when you are riding quickly.

The new Ceres GT can be configured starting today on Tout Terrain’s website, where you can pick stock or custom colors, tweak some of the components, and add accessories.

But essentially, this new Tout Terrain Ceres GT is only offered in one SRAM Apex/GX AXS Eagle Mullet group build for now with a rigid carbon fork starting at 3800€ complete, at a claimed 10.5kg. Officially though, not yet with the Cane Creek Invert suspension fork we see in all of these nice riding photos. However, we expect that suspension fork upgrade will be available through your local dealer.

The “about us” page on TT’s website is pretty devoid of any meaningful information. Where are the frames made and by whom? Some of their bikes are pretty expensive with some lackluster spec choices and limited sizes: some of the bikes are priced such that you could get a custom frame with a smart build for a similar price.

…and at least on the Ceres page, they spell brake, “break.” Maybe that shouldn’t matter but it’s an attention to detail thing for me.
