Last year, we saw Tout Terrain, the German-based adventure and touring bike brand, enter the world of gravel bikes. The Ceres GT Select 5.1 featured the same durable steel construction the brand is known for, but with race-inspired components and geometry.
Now, Tout Terrain brings even more performance, adding a new model to its Ceres lineup — the Ceres GT Select 6.4. The latest model sees carbon wheels, bars, seatpost, and other component upgrades.
And, it has a sparkly new paint job.
Same Tout Terrain Ceres Frame

Nothing has changed with the construction or design of the Tout Terrain Ceres frame that the brand released last year. It still features the same Tout Terrain Thermocrom CrMo steel frame on the previous model. The frame is made of thin-wall, triple-butted steel with dropped stays, allowing for a balance of lightweight, durability, and comfort.

The Ceres GT Select 6.4 also features a more gravel race-inspired geometry than Tout Terrain’s other bikes. The reach is longer, the bars are lower, and the headtube is slacker, among other things. Tout Terrain offers the Ceres GT Select 6.4 frame in four sizes, S–XL.
Tout Terrain built the Ceres frames to accommodate internal cable routing, a dropper post, and taillight routing, if you should choose to run them. The frame fits a 27.2 seatpost, T47 threaded BB, 44mm headtube, and is UDH compatible. It features 160mm flat mount brakes front and rear, 54mm tire clearance, multiple cage/bag mounting points, as well as mounts for frame racks and fenders.
Component Differences

What are the differences between the Tout Terrain Ceres GT Select 6.4 and the previous 5.1 model? Aside from a special Dorado Metallic Glazed paint job on the 6.4, component choice separates the two bikes.
Wanting to create a lighter, faster, and better-performing Ceres model, Tout Terrain chose quite a few carbon components. Where carbon wasn’t an option, Tout chose a higher spec offering for the Ceres GT Select 6.4.

While both models share the same carbon Tout Terrain Gravel Fork, that is about where similarities stop. The Ceres GT Select 6.4 sees improvements in:
- Groupset: SRAM Force AXS XPLR 1×13 (38×10–46)
- Wheels: DT Swiss GRC 1400
- Handlebars: Ritchey Superlogic Venturemax carbon handlebar (420mm S-M / 460mm L-XL)
- Seatpost: Ritchey WCS Carbon Zero
