Press Release: On July 17, a cross-country relay of Alzheimer’s researchers began their journey to make Alzheimer’s Disease a national priority. They left San Francisco with a goal of presenting Congress with 50,000 signatures at the end of their journey. As of August 23 when the ride passed through Kansas City, the Alzheimers’ Breakthrough Ride had collected over 80,000 signatures. The ride will end on September 21, World Alzheimer’s Day, when dozens of researchers will ride the final leg to Capitol Hill.
