Trek paints & blings Madone SLR for UCI World Road Champion Mads Pedersen

Trek used their Project One custom program to paint up a fresh Madone SLR for Mads Pedersen, winner of the UCI Road World Championship in Yorkshire. It features a full SRAM drivetrain, disc brakes, Bontrager carbon wheels, and of course – a very detailed paint job.

This isn’t the first dazzling Trek used by Mads Pedersen, but it’s certainly the sweetest – with a custom rainbow paint job for wining the UCI World Road Championship. The 23-year-old earned it by becoming the first Danish men’s rider to win the rainbow stripes, and the youngest champ in two decades.

According to Trek, the design was created by art director, Brian Lindstrom, and senior product graphic designer Micah Moran – with paint done by Kyle Doney.

The bike starts with a white base, with bold World Championship stripes and Trek-Segafredo team decals.

Pedersen will finish out his 2019 season this week at the Tre Valli Varesine on Tuesday, October 8th and Milano-Torino on the 9th. Learn more about Project One at the link below.
